Fellowships - English version

At the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Medical University Innsbruck, per year around ten surgeons come for a fellowship. They stay from one week up to a maximum of three months. Long term fellowships up to a length of one year are also possible within a defined project. Therefore it is recommended to contact vanessa.soraperra@tirol-kliniken.at at a very early stage.

Every fellow will nearly have the near state of an employee, which comprises a key card, access to IT and PACS, a personnel e-mail address and a pager. Also a white coat and trousers will be provided.

Every fellow has to be registered with the HR-department two months prior to the fellowship, therefore some documents are mandatory:

Unfortunately we are unable to provide any funding for fellows. But we are happy to assist with organizing rooms or flats within walking distance to the hospital.
